10/24/17 – North American Quarter Horse Show Gets Livestock Exposition off to Early Start

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (October 24, 2017) — The North American Quarter Horse Show returns to Broadbent Arena at the Kentucky Exposition Center Oct. 31-Nov. 8, kicking off the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE).

The quadruple-judged, quadruple-point North American Quarter Horse Show features more than 200 classes of events over its nine-day run. The show is sanctioned by the American Quarter Horse Association, the National Cutting Horse Association and the National Reining Horse Association.

The show attracts upwards of 1,000 entries, with $75,000 of prize money at stake. Competition classes include cutting, reining, halter, team penning, Western pleasure, tie-down roping, pole bending and barrel racing.

The Quarter Horse Show is free and open to the public. NAILE admission is required Nov. 3-6: $6 for adults; and $3 for seniors (55 and older) and children (ages 2-12). Parking is $8 daily. Free admission and parking are available to visitors and North American Marketplace shoppers Nov. 7-8.

The North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) is the largest all-breed, purebred livestock expo in the world and runs Oct. 31-Nov. 16 throughout the Kentucky Exposition Center.
