Bring Your Students To The World’s Largest All-Breed Livestock Show

We are happy to offer self-guided School Tours during the 2017 North American International Livestock Exposition.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

Bring your students to see the world’s largest all-breed livestock show! On a field trip to NAILE, students can get up close to their favorite barnyard animals. They’ll be thrilled by the team penning and roping during the quarter horse competition; amazed by the gentle giants pulling hand-crafted wagons at top speeds in the draft horse competition; and impressed by youth their own age competing in junior shows.

Admission for students is $2 per person. Teachers and parents will have access to lesson plans and curriculum materials, as well as The Mobile Dairy Classroom, available November 6th – 10th.

SELF-GUIDED TOURS

Students learn about various species and breeds of animals through self-guided tours that let them learn at their own pace. They’ll explore barns, show rings, educational exhibits and more.

CHILDREN’S BARNYARD

Students can interact with barnyard animals, including rabbits, llamas, mini horses, lambs and baby ducklings.

ART OF THE WOOL SHOWCASE

Students learn how wool goes from being on a sheep to becoming a shawl. There are also displays on fleece, spinning, weaving and more.
