North American International Livestock Exposition Pro Tips

The North American International Livestock Exposition is back! Cattle, swine, goats, sheep, mules, draft horses and more are shown by exhibitors from across the nation who come to Louisville to compete for a championship title. Before making your way to the Kentucky Expo Center, here are some tips to make this your best NAILE experience yet!

  1. Wear Comfy Shoes
With so many things to see at the expo, you’ll want to spend an entire day exploring the show! This means lots of walking to and from exhibits as well as standing in the show ring. Wearing comfortable shoes will make your experience more enjoyable and let you stay for as long as you’d like.
  2. Make New Friends
NAILE is a unique experience to make connections in the livestock industry.  Whether across breeds or species, you never know what kind of friendships you can make while showing.
  3. Get Your Shop On
Take a break from the barn and do some shopping in the Country Store. Christmas is coming up, so what better place to do some early shopping and beat the Black Friday rush.
  4. Learn Something New
Take time to go check out the other shows you are not competing in. NAILE is the perfect opportunity for you to learn about different breeds and species you may want to show next year.
  5. Have Fun
Enjoy your time at the expo! Exhibiting at the North American International Livestock Exposition is a lot of work, but set aside time to enjoy the experience. After all, you’ll have to wait a whole year to come back.
