Exhibitor Livestock Arrival

All livestock must check in with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture’s Office of State Veterinarian in Lot V (outside Gate 1 on Phillips Lane). This is where you can pickup pre-purchased admission credentials. Must remain in Lot V until released.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All cattle should arrive by 8:00 p.m. (EST) each day. If arrivals will be later than 8:00 p.m., please call the NAILE Office prior to 6:00 p.m. (EST) at (502) 367-5200 to receive stalling information. Failure to do so may affect your stalling location and space availability.

Release Information

Release: Begins at the conclusion of each breed’s show unless showing in the Open Show, Junior Supreme Show, or Supreme Show

All Dairy Cattle must be out of the barn by 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 11

Health Requirements

  • All lactating dairy cattle must have a negative Avian Influenza (AI) test performed by an accredited veterinarian within 7 days of arrival.
  • The test and results must be recorded on the CVI (Health Certificate).
  • Any lactating dairy cow without a negative AI test will not be allowed entry.
  • Testing is not available on-site; any animal without a completed negative test will be sent home.
  • All dairy cattle must test negative on an ELISA or PCR BVD-PI test performed by an accredited veterinarian.
  • The results and test date must appear on the CVI used for entry into the Kentucky Exposition Center for NAILE.
  • All dairy cattle must have a valid Health Certificate (CVI) including official USDA 840 EID identification.
  • This requirement applies to all cattle, including transit and sale animals.
